Fun Facts

I have several passions. I'm currently working with a technology start-up that is developing a social media application that facilitates conversations between new people in your community. Besides that I am incredibly passionate about soccer, basketball and football. With regards to basketball and football, I always cheer for my hometown (the Atlanta Hawks, and Atlanta Falcons), but seeing as Atlanta doesn't have an MLS team (yet!), my two favorite soccer teams are Liverpool and FC Barcelona.

About Me

I am a rising junior at Georgia Tech. I am currently studying Industrial Engineering. After I graduate, I plan to take a path less traveled for most of my peers and apply to law school at maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia.

Experience

I've had two great opportunities to help others with different areas of their studies. The first came when I was a volunteer at a summer youth enrichment program called OdysseyAtlanta. I helped young students learn a wide variety of subjects from math/reading to computers and music. Additionally, in university, I am part of FAB which helps freshman adjust to the new stresses of college both from an academic and social standpoint.

Approach

I think that the best way to motivate kids/peers is to primarily find the best means of communication with them. If you can conduct yourself in a way that yields a positive response from your student it makes it easier to explain/motivate them to put in the necessary work to achieve the results they want when they come into a atlanta">tutoring session.
