Fun Facts
One thing that everyone knows about me is that I am HUGE on healthy eating and fitness. If I'm not studying I am either at the gym or whipping up some cool healthy dessert in the kitchen. I am the oldest of three and I've lived in 5 different states! I also love singing, hiking and going to the beach.
About Me
I am a junior Accounting major at Texas Christian University. I am involved in the TCU Neeley Leadership Program, I am Vice President of the Association for Information Systems and I am on a community service committee. I will be seeking my CPA license after I graduate with TCU. My ultimate goal is to become a Certified Public Accountant and to do assurance or advisory for an Accounting firm.
Experience
As a member of the TCU Neeley Leadership Program, I have had the privilege of being an ambassador for the Neeley School of Business. I have worked directly with recruiters and professors within the Neeley School. I am on the community service committee and I have gained new perspective on leadership, presentations and teamwork. Working with people, whether in a team or interpersonally has given me a ton of experience needed to tutor others and I am eager to help!
Approach
When I was in High School I learned the value of tutoring when I developed a close relationship with my SAT teacher. She not only taught me SAT skills that helped me do well on the test, but she helped me develop an appreciation and love for the subjects I was learning. I was fortunate to have someone who cared about my academic success and encouraged me in a positive way. By being a tutor, I hope to instill the same confidence in my students and come to the same appreciation for learning.

Accounting
Homework Coach Tutoring
I can help your son or daughter with time management and organization. I find that keeping up with a calendar and doing a little bit every day before a test is vital to doing well. I can help the student stay on top of their homework and start homework early, so they do not become stressed.
Geometry Tutoring
I took geometry my junior year of High School and received one of the highest grades in the class. The teacher taught in a way that was highly understandable and I loved it. I got an A on almost every exam and I am highly knowledgeable on the various aspects of geometry including degrees of angles, the Pythagorean theorem, and lines. I have many tricks to remember the various topics.
Algebra Tutoring
I took algebra in middle school and high school. I made good grades and learned different cool and interesting ways to remember the subject and make it fun. Because of my interest in algebra I chose the path of Accounting. By my senior year my accounting skills were sharp because of algebra and the teacher recommended me to join the UIL Accounting League.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
I took pre-algebra and algebra I and II in middle school and high school. I made good grades and learned different cool and interesting ways to remember the subject and make it fun. Because of my interest in algebra I chose the path of Accounting. By my senior year my accounting skills were sharp because of algebra and the teacher recommended me to join the UIL Accounting League.
Study Skills Tutoring
I have a knack for memorization. I can help students learn how to memorize subject matter while still grasping and understanding the information. I have an online flashcard tool that I am familiar with and find that writing subject matter down to remember is vital. I can help the student study the material related to the exam and prepare them for different questions that may be asked. Making fake tests, flash cards, and writing down possible essay answers before the test have given me success in my own experience. I teach organization and time management as well.
