Fun Facts
I love to run! I've completed two half-marathons and would love to do more in the future. I also love to travel and explore new places. I've moved eight times and lived in six different states.
When I need to relax, I like to read or knit.
About Me
I am a senior Biology major with a Spanish minor at Texas Christian University and am a member of the John V. Roach Honor's College. After graduation, I hope to study marine ecology in graduate school with the goal of working in the field of research.
Experience
During high school, I served as a tutor before school as a member of the National Honors Society. While I was studying abroad in Spain during my junior year of college, I had the opportunity to tutor again and teach English to elementary-children.
Approach
I have always had a passion for learning and discovering new things. I am grateful to several influential teachers in high school who took extra time to invest in me; they helped me decide what my goals were and how to reach them. This showed me that individual relationships are the most important part of tutoring.

Biology I Tutoring
I am a biology major with a major GPA of 4.00. My sophomore year, I served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for the Intro to Biology I and II lab. This has given me experience teaching and helping to explain the subject material.

Spanish I Tutoring
I took Spanish for all four years of high school, including AP Spanish, and received an A in every class. I am minoring in Spanish in college and have taken 21 hours of Spanish classes (GPA for minor is 3.98). Last Spring I studied abroad in Seville, Spain and enhanced my conversational skills.
