Fun Facts
I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and have lived in the same house my entire life. I have a passion for reading and writing in my spare time. I love helping people have that moment when something "clicks" because I know how rewarding it is!
About Me
I am a junior Psychology major and Child Development minor at Texas Christian University. I hope to go on to graduate school and pursue a career working with children and families.
Experience
I was involved in a program in high school in which I was paired with elementary and middle school kids for homework help. I volunteered at the Dallas Museum of Art, where I lead art activities for school aged children.
Approach
I know how frustrating learning can be if you can't seem to get a grasp on the material. However, I also know that once you do it can be a blast! I'm committed to making sure kids learn in a fun and motivating way. I always have a positive attitude when it comes to learning.

AP English Tutoring
I am a very analytical person, especially when it comes to reading and writing. I am also skilled at organizing essays. I received a 5 out of 5 on both of the AP English Exams.

I am a Psychology major with a Major GPA of 4.0. I also received a 5 out of 5 on the AP Psychology exam. Psychology is a passion of mine and I love to help others see how fascinating it is!
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I have taken college level courses that require advanced reading comprehension skills. I also received a 35 out of 36 on the reading portion of the ACT. I am devoted to making sure the student understands what they have read rather than simply telling them.
Study Skills Tutoring
I have taken study skills courses and have an academic coach who reinforces my skills. I have a book of techniques for studying and tips to help the student both inside and outside of the classroom. I know just how important good study skills are to a student's success.
Writing Tutoring
Writing has always been a passion of mine and it comes naturally to me. I have taken courses that require both creative and analytical writing. I also received an 11 out of 12 on the ACT writing section.
Arts Tutoring
I have a passion for arts and all things creative. I have received an A in an education course at TCU called "Children and the FIne Arts" which required the creation of lesson plans and art activities. I am devoted to making art fun but also educational!
History Tutoring
I have a passion for history and am devoted to helping others see how fascinating it really is! I also have tips for helping students to memorize dates and other important information.
Social Studies Tutoring
As an elementary school student, social studies was my favorite class! I know a lot about current events, and I love to travel and learn about other cultures. I have experience with helping elementary school kids with social studies homework.
AP History Tutoring
AP US History was one of the most rewarding classes I took in high school. I had an excellent professor who really structured the class in a way that is reflective of college courses. I learned so much about how to not only memorize the information but apply it in a way that is critical to the exam. I received a 4 out of 5 on the exam and gained 6 credit hours at TCU.
