About Me
I graduated from the maryland">University of Maryland, maryland/baltimore">Baltimore County in May 2012 with two Bachelors degrees in English Literature and Applied Linguistics and a minor in writing. I am currently planning on taking a year off from school to raise money and gain some professional experience in both maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring and journalism, but I hope to attend graduate school in 2013 to earn my Masters in Journalism. Ultimately, I would like to work for The Onion as either a reporter or an editor.

During my senior year, I completed the qualifications to become a Level II writing maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor by taking a maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring course and working closely with my Writing Center supervisor. I also mentored several Writing Center interns.

Once the student trusts me as his/her maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor, I always encourage the student to ask me questions and let me know what he/she wants to accomplish with each maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring session. I want to make sure the student feels confident in the material after each session, but I also want the student to understand that I will not be doing his/her work. My goal is to guide the student through the material and help him/her arrive a
