About Me

I am currently a graduate student finishing my master’s degree in Environmental science. I was on the Dean’s List every semester of my undergraduate career, and was awarded the Chancellors Medallion honoring excellence in both academics and community service. I hope to use my undergraduate degree in molecular biology/genetics combined with my masters in environmental science to do environmental remediation and compliance work when accidents like the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico occur.

I am a member of both Tri Beta and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies, which is how I was introduced to the idea of denver">tutoring. A professor, Dr. Merkel, who I really liked, was the Faculty Advisor for our Tri Beta chapter. He had a student, Vanessa, who was really struggling in his microbiology class, and he asked if I would be willing to help. denver">Tutoring Vanessa opened the door to denver">tutoring all of the subjects I had taken, and began the best three years of my university career! Vanessa went on to make an A in microbiology, and is doing so well now that she is planning to go to Graduate school in Minnesota this autumn.

As a denver">tutor I worked with students and groups, both weekly and bi-weekly, in a wide variety of subject areas. I am excited to continue my denver">tutoring experience with Frog denver">Tutoring, and am very much looking forward to the opportunity to collaborate with your child to achieve their best possible potential! In addition to the courses listed above, I am able to denver">tutor other advanced biology courses such as Microbiology, Cell Biology, Immunology and Genetics.

We all know learning is necessary, but I believe learning is hugely fun too! Everyone loves to succeed. As a denver">tutor, my goal is to help build a tool belt for each child, full of skills and techniques, which enable them to build the educational success they are hoping for. Utilizing the Frog denver">Tutoring Philosophies of One Step Ahead, Reinforcement and Effective Organization and Study Techniques, in combination with the help of a passionate and dedicated denver">tutor, we will turn a current point of frustration into a banner of success!
