Whether it's in the practice room playing piano, in the classroom immersed in economics, or out in the city running to the sounds of UK house music, I dedicate about seventy-five percent of my entirety to the goal. As for the other twenty-five percent? It's just me worrying that if I burn out now, who'll inject my body with a shot of espresso later?

About Me

I am an incoming freshman to NYU's Stern School of Business, hoping to study both finance and global business. As an economist, I'll try not to rain on your parade. In the future, I hope to work in portfolio management or management consulting, with a focus on sustainable leadership, teamwork, and dedication.

Experience

As a member of my high school's Cum Laude society, I was awarded entry into my school's manhattan">tutoring group, aptly known as "Arete" for "excellence." In addition to my internships with the school therapist, in which I focused on peer-to-peer counselling and guidance, I have tutored students in areas including English, Spanish, Chinese, mathematics, and economics. I also pioneered my school's first business club!

Approach

I believe that the most basic is actually the most fundamental to a lesson; without strong framework, there won't be support for more abstract concepts. However, I don't believe in just rote memorisation, either. A mix of creativity and willpower to study will promote better study habits, resulting in a richer academic life.
