Fun Facts
I speak three languages--English, Arabic, and my native Greek. I grew up in a bilingual household and am very proud of my Greek culture! Also, I hail from Ohio, and am a major Cleveland Cavaliers fan!
About Me
I am a sophomore at washington-university">George washington-university">Washington University studying International Affairs and Middle Eastern Studies. After completing my undergraduate degree, I hope to attend law school where my ultimate goal after earning my J.D is to practice as a civil liberties and human rights attorney.
Experience
I served as a peer washington-dc">tutor during my four years of high school, and I am grateful to be washington-dc">tutoring again at the college level.
Approach
My approach is to guide students to achieving their own goals. Rather than merely giving a student a correct answer, I will re-synthesize the course material in a manner that is more easily understood by the student. I also enjoy devising intuitive ways for the student to commit information to memory so that they are better prepared for exams and projects.

Economics Tutoring
AP Macroeconomics and Microeconomics in high school. I also have taken a passed both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at GW and received grades of A-, and B+ respectively on both of though courses.
Geology Tutoring
I took geology in High School and received an A in that class. I also have taken geology at the collegiate level, with accompanying laboratory, and received an A in that course.
International Studies Tutoring
This is my major. My entire course load revolves around International Studies, and I have received A's in all classes pertaining to my major. My speciality is the Middle East and North Africa, and I am proficient in Arabic.
Literature Tutoring
I took AP English Literature and Composition in high school, and received an A in that class. I also received a 5 (out of 5) on the AP Exam, earning me college credit for that class. I have experience in both American and World Literature.
Macro Economics Tutoring
AP Macroeconomics and Microeconomics in high school. I also have taken a passed both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at GW and received grades of A-, and B+ respectively on both of though courses.
Micro-Economics Tutoring

Political Science Tutoring
In high school I took AP US Politics and Government, and received an A+ in that class. I also received a 5 (out of 5) on the AP US Politics exam, granting me college credit for that class. I also received an "A" grade on both Introduction to Political Science, and Introduction to Comparative Politics at George Washington. Politics is my passion and specialty; and I have real-world experience in this field.
Psychology Tutoring
I took Introduction to Psychology at the collegiate level and passed with an A+
Sociology Tutoring
I took Introduction to Sociology at the college level and received an A in that course.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I have received an A in every English and Reading class I have taken in both High School and College. I received a 5/5 on the AP English Literature exam, an 800/800 on the SAT Reading Comprehension Test, and a 34/36 on the ACT Reading test.
Social Studies Tutoring
The social science heavy course load required of my IA major qualifies me to teach elementary level social studies.
