Fun Facts

Interesting fact about me is that I work with kids well,I am the oldest of four sisters.I am currently a boys and girls club employee and work everyday shaping kids into respectful,smart,and responsible teenagers.I love listening to music and have some experience reading and writing your basic music.I love to sing ,I am going to Fresno State as a freshman working toward a degree in child development so that I can continue my career with boys and girls club.

About Me

I am entering my first year at Fresno State as a freshman earning my degree in Child Development.I was awarded Youth of the Year two times in a row in my city.I have tutored children before with a program called Give Every Child A Chance.I am pretty comfortable with Algebra 1 and anything below that.I have been on honor roll my freshman,junior,and senior year.I also excel in other subjects like basic music theory,history,and english math is just something I never had much of problem with.

Experience

As a boys and girls club employee we do encourage education as a big part of success.We have a program everyday during the school year called power hour where students are strictly to do homework for that one or two hours when they come to our site.There we offer fresno">tutoring in all subjects , so I have experience in fresno">tutoring elementary students.I also have joined a program while I was in junior high called Give Every child A chance a place specifically for fresno">tutoring kids.

Approach

As a student I was quite the handful until around sixth grade.A teacher of mine who i still talk to,to this day saved me.She saved me through education and life she was there for me and shaped me into the great student and person I am today.Being apart of frog fresno">tutoring will give me the opportunity to be that teacher.I will be able to show these kids education is a big deal,and when they get to that point in life of who they want to be they have options.
