Fun Facts
Well, when I think of the "six-degrees of separation" it leads me to the six LONGITUDINAL degrees of the globe I have yet to cross over, either by plane, train, or automobile. I have the other 354 degrees! Just need to go back to China and finish that bit!

I am an experienced elementary and middle school teacher. My BA is in Journalism, and my MEd in Secondary Education, with an emphasis in Gifted Education. I have taught grades K-9, as a math teacher, reading enrichment, gifted coordinator, and an English teacher..
Experience
I am a veteran teacher, with over 17 years of teaching experience. I am primarily a gifted specialist and an English teacher, with years of experience in middle school teaching. My strength is in teaching writing and literary analysis. However, there are many other subjects that fit under my gifted umbrella. I enjoy teaching math-elementary/colorado/denver">elementary math.
Approach
My diverse background has allowed me to interact with students of all levels, abilities, and from many different cultures as well. My approach to working with a child is to find out his./her learning style first, and make the lessons and the assignments correspond to that strength, so success is seen right away.
