Fun Facts
I love flag football ! As someone who regretted not playing football in high school, I joined a bunch of friends to make a flag football team. Now we compete regionally and nationally in leagues and other competitions.
About Me
I am a senior at Loyola University studying biology. I have been on the Dean's list several years. My goal is to become a doctor, and I am waiting anxiously to get an acceptance into medical school. Through my mentoring of freshmen, I have been able to enhance my abilities to communicate and inspire young minds to strive for excellence.
Experience
I volunteer as an EMT-B and provide emergency medical support to students during the hours that the wellness center is closed. Also, I am a mentor for freshmen providing advise on how to have success in college, and provide chicago">tutoring assistance in math and science subjects. I have several experiences volunteering at hospitals such as Lurie's Children Hospital, and Advocate Masonic Hospital, where I have developed my compassion to serve others.
Approach
As a child, I was an avid learner. I would love to learn, read, and apply my knowledge. The enthusiasm I have for learning helps me teach and learn with my peers. As a chicago">tutor, I hope to bring the same energy and resourcefulness to allow students to think on their own and master the content they require help in. While my approach will change from child to child, I believe in providing proper motivation to ensure success in a wide variety of subjects.
