Fun Facts
I love to travel! I want to be able to travel the world soon. So far I have been to England, Italy, Spain and India. Let me tell you, one of the best things I have done so far in life is choose to study abroad in Barcelona, Spain. I would encourage anyone to go out and explore the world to not only learn about other cultures and people but to learn more about who you are. Besides that I want to be a wedding event planner one day because I love to decorate and design things and I love weddings!
About Me
I am a senior at fresno-state-university">Fresno State University. I'm a Business Marketing major. I picked marketing because it is an exciting field to work in and really appealed to me. I am hoping to work outside of Fresno once I graduate and eventually I want to be able to start up my own business with event planning.
Experience
I have volunteered as a fresno">tutor when I was in high school, I learned that my patience and understanding with kids really helped me to help them and made our experiences together so much better! I have always been very involved throughout high school and now in college. In high school I was in ASB, part of several clubs and even the president of the environmental club. Now at Fresno State I hold an executive position in the marketing club, PR club, and I'm on the Vintage Days committee.
Approach
I have always liked learning, although English was my second language I picked up on it and after that I have always been focused and proficient in school. I always had great role models and teachers to help me whenever I needed it and I would like to be able to be that someone to young students. I would do my best to help them be successful in whatever the subject may be! :)

Arts Tutoring
Art could be one of the most enjoyable subjects, it was definitely my favorite in Elementary school. Some projects may seem hard but once their is a good idea that comes up or the technique is figured out, it can be more fun than not!
English Tutoring
I have always been really good with all my English classes, it comes easy to me. I even passed my AP test for English and writing in High School! Although it may not be the most enjoyable subject, once broken down, English/Literature can come easily.
Homework Coach Tutoring
It can be hard to be motivated to do homework, especially when you come home from school where you were doing work all day too! Students just need some motivation and a push to get them going. Teaching them how to use their time wisely without distractions and a few tricks will really help them get on track and they will always finish their homework assignments!

Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I love to read! Once I get started on a book it is hard to put it down. My dad used to make me read a book a week when I was younger, not only did it help me understand and pick up English a lot faster and more easily, but it showed me a whole new world every time. I believe through reading I became a much better writer and actually enjoyed English/Literature.
Study Skills Tutoring
Their are so many ways to study out there! Depending on the student's way of learning, different study techniques can be applied. Some students need to write things down to remember them, some need to record things, and some need a visual aid. Whatever it may be, once figured out, the student will pick up studying a lot easier and of course ace his/her tests!
Writing Tutoring
I've been told I'm a good writer, it just takes practice to get the art down. Through first targeting grammar and working into getting one's creativity flowing or brain focused on the task, the writing process becomes a lot easier!
