Fun Facts
I am passionate about martial arts. Particularly Tang Soo Do (a sister art to Tai Kwan Do). I started practicing this martial art at the beginning of college and since then, my instructor has helped shaped my character. My other hobbies include photography, hiking, reading, and video games.

I am a UCLA graduate in the major of Linguistic/Psychology. I have been teaching ESL and Vietnamese on and off for a long time.

With my education in Linguistic/Psychology in one of the most prestigious universities in the country I have deep expertise into language processes as well as the way we acquire knowledge. This combined with my real world experience teaching students from many backgrounds in various situations allow me to personalize my approach for each student.
Approach
When I was in the early days of my education I had the misfortune of having teachers that did not take into consideration the differences in their students and had simply plowed through the syllabi as is. It goes without saying that quite a few students did not fare so well. As I progressed through my education, I realized each student is unique not only in their learning styles but also literally in their brains. Each learner learn in a unique way that require their teacher to adapt to succeed.
