Fun Facts

My absolute passions are reading and helping people. I love to read and research new subjects. I also love to learn about new topics. I am the oldest of four children, and I have two cats and a dog. I love to cook, and I make Spanish food the best. I one day hope to open my own no kill animal shelter, and my own maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring center.

About Me

I am fully bilingual and a book worm. I read non stop and I want to obtain my associate's degree in the near future in business. I also am studying to go into real estate. As a passion I love to maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor children, and I am currently using my social media platform to organize a back to school giveaway for parents who are in need of help gathering back to school supplies.

Experience

Throughout my entire high school & early college career, I volunteered in elementary schools working with special needs children. I also tutored professionally from the age of 16 until currently. I specialize in English & Spanish. I worked for a summer program called Freedom Schools in which I was afforded the privilege to travel to Tennessee for a week to be trained with students from all over the country. I then spent the summer teaching an integrated reading curriculum to inner city children

Approach

As a child, I felt that I was not afforded the right amount of one on one attention in order to grasp the subjects that I did not understand. I really struggled in math, and my teachers did not have enough time to spend with me to help me grasp the subject. I have found that the best thing for me to do is relate the subjects to my client's lives. I am aware of popular trends, and I have two younger brothers in high school and elementary school. I find that I can relate to my clients.
