About Me
I was born the only boy and youngest of four in April 1993, I attended Bishop Montgomery in Torrance for high school and am currently enrolled at the University of California Berkeley. I plan on finishing off a Business Administration and a minor in Philosphy from Berkeley. Hopefully placing myself in a position to land a job in the burgeoning tech industry or the longboard scene.
I have unofficially tutored my friends many times in math or other subjects where they needed help and I could oblige, but have also experienced official tutoring situations. My high school offered a in school tutoring program where older students tutored younger ones through CSF (California Scholarship Federation). I took part as an older student and for my junior year tutored a student in math.
My approach to tutoring centers mainly upon communication. Understanding where the student is having troubles and seeing how I can set up an example to address issues that appear organically during a tutoring session both find there solutions in communication between me and the student. When communication is back and forth and not one sided I believe that the effectiveness of instruction greatly improves.
