Fun Facts
I spend most of my time in the water; I have been competitively swimming since I was 7 years old. I am currently on the NYU Varsity Swim Team. I am a numbers nerd at heart, although it can only be seen when I am working with problems. I enjoy reading on the beach and sightseeing in NYC.
About Me
I am a Sophomore at NYU studying Math & Economics. I have been on the Student Athlete Honor Role for both semesters of my freshman year. I hope to graduate with a double major and a possible minor by May 2015.
I volunteer to manhattan">tutor 4th-8th graders from East Harlem School on Saturday mornings. I have also tutored some of my fellow teammates in Calculus. I am eager to help fellow students achieve academic success, while encouraging them to experience various non-academic activities. I believe that there should be a balance between extra-curricular activities and school. I hope to facilitate the school side, making students more confident and eager to learn.
As a student athlete, I believe one of the most important skills to learn is time management. I help students plan their weeks and complete their homework effectively and efficiently. I aim to answer all possible questions students have, while also presenting the material in an easy, direct manner. I hope to build confidence in the student's own ability to understand the material and excel at school.
