I am passionate about the environment and believe we must do our part to leave the least impact for the next generation as possible. I love being outdoors doing things such as taking a canoe ride, camping and hiking.

About Me

I have a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the State University of New York at buffalo">Buffalo. One of my favorite things to do is to travel. I have lived in Cuenca, Ecuador for three months for my Master's research, and have travelled extensively throughout Europe.

Experience

I have been a college professor for the last 10 years and have taught Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology courses. I have one year tutoring experience and am able to tutor K-college in a variety of subjects. I also have experience in test prep such as SAT, ACT and GED.

Approach

As a child, needed a tutor for language skills since my first language is German. I went from German language instruction in school to English only. When the teachers sent home notices that there is something wrong academically, I received a tutor to help understand school concepts. Now I believe each student may need a tutor at some point in their academic career.
