Fun Facts
I am an athletic young man who plays soccer, tennis, and volleyball. I love to try new things and meet new people. On my past time I like to watch movies and draw. I am the oldest of two and have two parents who are amazing. Since my major involves voice therapy I love to sing when i'm bored. I might not be the best but, it sure is fun to do. Since I was little I loved to take adventures to random places just so that my life would have stories. I wish to grow up and travel to Europe.
About Me
I am a freshman at CSU Fresno and my major is Communicative Disorders-Speech Pathology. I am also going to minor in Spanish. I graduated 15th in my class of 150 students. I receive satisfaction in myself from helping others and seeing them succeed. I will study to receive my Bachelor's and then apply to the master's program here at Fresno State. With my Master's I plan to first work at a hospital setting and then after a couple of years begin my journey towards my PHD.
Experience
My high school has the requirement to complete 85 hours of community service in order to graduate I completed 202 hours through assisting programs such as the YMCA after school program for elementary, Coaching for CYSA, and also after school fresno">tutoring sessions with underclassmen. I was also the peer counselor for my school. During the summer I worked for the high school mentoring incoming freshman for their college pathways. I also did an internship with a local Speech Pathologist for kids.
Approach
I am Mexican and grew up with parents who did not speak one word of English and had very little knowledge when it came to school. I worked hard to get to were I am now and I hope to help others. My goal as a fresno">tutor is to always seek for individual necessity first. Then, Identify their way of learning because we all have different ways in which we grasp to a subject. Lastly, is make them understand their weaknesses so that they can use their knowledge at school.

Communicative Disorders- Speech Pathology
Algebra Tutoring
I have taken pre-algebra, algebra 1, and algebra 2. In all courses I received higher than a B. The highest level of math that I have taken is calculus and through all my math courses I have passed all with a minimum of an B. I am an honor math student as well.
Spanish I Tutoring
I was born and raised speaking Spanish. I know how to read and write Spanish exceptionally well. My minor is Spanish. I have enough AP credits to fulfill the majority of the pre-requisites for my minor.I received A's mostly all semesters.
English Tutoring
I have always taken Honors courses and have done exceptionally well in all my English classes. My grammer and diction is precise. My strengths in school have always been reading and writing.
Homework Coach Tutoring
Homework is the most important part of my day. I make sure to complete all homework because I know that at the end of the day that is very useful to pass any of my classes. I encourage others all the time to work on time management and elimination process in order to complete all homework.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
Pre-Algebra was my best math class because it comes natural to me. This subject is important because it is the basic of mostly all math. I received an A both semesters of this particular math.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
When I was little my fluency and comprehension was terrible. After a couple of years it became one of the best and was identified by many of my teachers. On most of my test my strongest part of the test is unusually this category. I have been a fluency coach for a couple of elementary school students.

Study Skills Tutoring
Since I was not very smart as a kid due to my lack of English skills I had to work extra hard in order to receive good grades. My study skill became very ideal to not just me, but to many of my fellow peers.
Math Tutoring
I have been a Elementary school tutor before and have worked with math. Most of this math is very knew, but I know how the structure for most school works. It is just connecting with the child.
