One thing that is evident about me is that I love to try new things, especially food. I love to travel to new places and trying out new things. However, I am still pretty lax and love to babysit, hang out with friends and read.

About Me

I am a senior Journalism major with a concentration on magazine at University of Texas at Austin. I am also currently working on possibly having a minor in Korean. When I graduate, I plan on teaching English in Korea for a year as well as do some freelance journalism on the side.

As an active member of Christian fellowship in college, I've had the opportunity to teach the gospel to underclassmen. Along with working with college students in the college ministry, I have also been allowed to work with the youth in the church. I have had the opportunity to babysit and work with the children in the church with various school assignments. Frog austin">Tutoring would only give me a bigger opportunity to reach out to more students in need.

As a child, I had the mentality to do well in school and remembered how hard it was to ask for help. However, I was glad to have a time for discussion and time to ask questions to my teachers. Even though I was a bit on the shy side, my teacher would set aside time to work with me and taught me to persevere through my difficulties. As a austin">tutor, I will try to relate to the students and take each student case by case rather than thinking all kids are the same. I will try to see which way would be best for them to learn, but attempt not to give them the answers because I know there will be no learning going on there. I would feel it would be my responsibility to teach them these values at a young age, so they can carry it on throughout their lives.
