Fun Facts

One thing that everyone knows I love is FOOD! I love to eat authentic food from different cultures. Besides filling up my tummy, I am an athlete who plays lacrosse with my friends during my free time. I enjoy watching all kinds of sports and just to be on the safe side I am not a fan of any teams so you can root for any team you want. Even though I have a fear of heights, I like to travel to different countries.

About Me

I am a sophomore at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, majoring in Math and minoring in Environmental Studies. I am currently on the deans list and hope to continue bringing up my GPA. After I finish college, I hope to go to graduate school to study Business. My goal is to earn my Masters in Business.

During my last 3 years of high school I was apart of ARISTA which was the National Honors Society. As a scholar, I tutored students in Math related subjects that I excelled in such as Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus , Calculus and even Chemistry. Next semester I hope to be apart of the Boys and Girls Club and bronx">tutor students in the Geneva Middle/High school. Frog bronx">tutoring is a great opportunity that allows me to continue what I love doing and that is supporting and helping students that need and extra push towards the finish line.

Growing up, I struggled with reading and writing. I didn't really have any one to help me because my parents barely knew English and my big sister was concentrated on her studies so I was left with no guidance or support. On that account, I joined a program that helped me academically with my math, writing and reading. Therefore, I want my students to have a support system and to have someone build their confidence level up. For me it is more than bronx">tutoring students, it is as if I am their mentor outside of the classroom setting. In a way I build a relationship so that they can trust me and rely on me when needed.
