Fun Facts
I love cars, especially old European cars. I still have my first car, a 30 year old BMW that I got when I was 15. I have never been to Mexico but I have traveled to Italy.
About Me
I am a sophomore at the University of Texas at Arlington studying Mechanical Engineering. My goal as an engineer is to work for a German car company. My life dream is to start my own sports car company.
My tutoring experience has been assisting fellow students in subjects that I have already completed. I also assist classmates in our subjects helping to bring them success in our classes. I enjoy tutoring because I get to see the immediate change in a students performance, they leave more confident of their school work and better prepared to tackle their schooling.
As a young student I struggled with school, but once I discovered my aptitude in math and science I soon discovered my passion for learning and discovery. This is a passion I want to pass on to others through a desire to learn for themselves. Knowledge is gained through understanding, not blind memorization of facts. When I tutor I expect students to come prepared with questions having already either attempted the work or at least having already read over the material.
