About Me
I recently graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Masters degree in Kinesiology and a cumulative GPA of 3.87. I am from the Los Angeles area but relocated to Fresno after getting married back in June, 2015. My focus is in corporate health and safety where I specialize in injury prevention through functional movement
Experience
My career over the past 5 years has required me to continually educate my clients on matters ranging from dietary choices, postural positioning, and how certain muscles in their body work. My career is essentially centered around educating others on a daily basis. For this reason I am required to constantly continue my learning so that I may be of better service to others. I don't promise to be all-knowing in this field, but I promise to work hard to get you to where you want to be.
Approach
Kinesiology can be broken down into a series of muscles, bones, and joints, where each segment is memorized in detail (and later forgotten). However my approach at understanding kinesiology is applying each principle to the great "so what" question. The wonderful thing about kinesiology is that just about everything in this broad field can be applied to a real life example where the concept becomes so much more meaningful. In this way learning is more enjoyable and ultimately more sustainable.
