Fun Facts
A fun fact about me is I played basketball all four years oh high school and went to the state tournament two times. We were 4A state champions my junior year and state finalists my senior year. It was such an honor getting to play in such a competitive and lively game. Another fun fact about me is I have twin sisters who are in 11th grade and in the same basketball program I was in. My love for the game is still strong and anytime I have the opportunity to play or watch basketball, I do!
About Me
I am a sophomore Pre-Business major at Baylor University planning to major in Accounting. I was on the Dean's List last semester and hope I can achieve this great honor this semester as well. After I graduate with by bachelor degree in Accounting, I plan on going to grad school and becoming a Certified Public Accountant. I also really enjoy math and problem solving.
Experience
I had the opportunity of tutoring a 7th grader in mathematics while I was in high school. When the students face lit up because she answered the question right after I helped her was such an amazing feeling. I also had the chance to mentor a 5th grade girl through Jr. Pals. I would help her with homework, play games and hang out with her group of friends. The satisfaction of helping kids through the Frog Tutoring would be such an honor.
Approach
My favorite teacher through out all my years of school was my pre-calculous teacher because she cared so much for her students and their success. Her approach to teaching made a big impact on me and I want to help other students, like she helped me. I believe being excited about learning and really caring about who you are teaching can help kids learn and also be excited about it. Kids education is so important and it would be a honor getting to help them learn.
