Fun Facts
I'm sort of a fitness buff. I like to exercise in orthodox and unorthodox ways. I like to do like aerobic exercises like running a few miles and stair running when the temperature is frightening but my favorite exercises are body-weight exercises that are pretty advanced. My favorite is handstand push-up which took me a couple of years to master. At my current skill level I can do about 30 free-standing press-ups.
About Me
I am a senior cellular and molecular neuroscience major. I have been studying at Temple for all four years and have been a diligent student. I have a 3.55 overall GPA and about the same in math and science. I want to become a researcher once I graduate May of 2016
Experience
I was a STEM student and took several AP courses and did did well (3-5) on most of them. I was also a member of the National Junior Honor Society and I actively helped set up a few events for school like our winter ball. I joined TUCS my junior year in college.
Approach
I have always done pretty well in school but I did a lot better in college than in high school. The reason for this I believe is that I really started to focus and pay attention more truly taking in the information, reiterating the information to myself and re-explaining the concepts to myself and sometimes others to make sure I understood the material in the best way I could. This approach doesn't require much energy but it is taxing sometimes. It is very helpful to getting good grades
