Fun Facts
I love being outdoors and hiking in my free time. I enjoy flipping rocks and logs in the forest to find amphibians and reptiles to photograph. I spend the weekends exploring local restaurants and festivals in Columbus with friends and family. I couldn't live without vanilla lattes, Netflix, and my pug (Tobias).
About Me
I recently graduated with a M.S. in Biology from John Carroll University, and I intend to pursue a PhD in Ecology. I earned a research grant to fund my master's thesis work, which focused on the interactions between invasive earthworms and salamanders in northeastern Ohio.
Experience
I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience, including work with pre-med undergraduates, college-bound high schoolers, and elementary school students. I am dedicated to helping students engage with the material and take ownership of their academic success. Hopefully I can get your child as excited about studying biology as I am!
