Fun Facts
I received my Bachelor's degree and graduated from fresno-pacific-university">Fresno Pacific University in three years. I am bilingual; Spanish was my first language and soon became my passion. I decided to combine my two passions, Spanish and athletics, with my degree and majored in Spanish and minored in Coaching. I am a distance runner; during my undergraduate years at Pacific, I was a collegiate athlete and ran for the university. I will continue to run Cross Country and Track this upcoming year as I pursue my Master'
About Me
Learning sign language and completing my Master's are two of my short term goals. My career goal for years now has been to become an interpreter and translator: Spanish, English and Sign Language (possibly in the courts). Spanish has always been my passion, along with helping others; I feel this career will combine both in that I will be helping two parties who are divided by language be able to understand each other. I would also like to put my coaching minor and certification to use and coach the women's distance team at my high school after I complete my Master's degree; I enjoy working with and helping students when it comes to both athletics and academics. My coaches have been a big inspiration in my life and I hope to be this for my students and athletes to continue pursuing a higher education.
When I was in high school, I would return to my elementary school during my summers and help my previous teachers as a student aid during their summer school; the subjects depended on the grade level and class they were teaching. During the academic years of my high school career, I dedicated my lunch hour a couple of days a week to fresno">tutoring fellow classmates and students struggling with assignments. While completing my Bachelor's at Fresno Pacific, my time was divided between work, school and athletics. I like to consider my college fresno">tutoring more of helping friends by editing their essays, helping them prepare and study for tests or helping them with assignments they needed help with.
I consider fresno">tutoring, along with any role in education, to be very important in a student's life. My goal when it comes to fresno">tutoring is being the help a student needs; whether a student needs help getting organized, with difficult assignments / lessons or editing papers, I would like to be of assistance. When it comes to homework help, I like to review what the student has learned and pinpoint where comprehension stopped and confusion set in; it is at this point where I plan on beginnin
