I am native in French and English, fluent in Russian and Korean, and proficient in German. I enjoy playing the piano in my spare time. I have lived, studied, worked and traveled in France, Russia, and South Korea.

About Me

I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor Degree in Biology and Society and a Certificate in Korean. Born of an American father and a French mother, I grew up speaking French at home and English outside. I learned Russian as a toddler while living in Russia, took German for four years in high school, and mastered Korean while living in South Korea on two State Department scholarships.

Experience

From 2009 to 2010 I worked as a writing phoenix">tutor in the Barrett Honors College Writing Center, helping honors students write their essays. In 2011, I began working at Arizona State University's Tempe Writing Center, where I specialize in helping students with all different types of writing. In addition, I also phoenix">tutor French in Korean at Arizona State University's Learning Resource Center.

Approach

When I phoenix">tutor students, I like to guide my student into finding the answer on his or her own. I believe that with a little guidance and help from my part, students should be able to figure out the answer to their problem and eventually progress to where they can solve the problem themselves without my assistance. I believe that interactive repetition is the key to helping a student succeed in his or her studies. Continuous interaction can help boost my student's confidence in their knowledge.
