One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love languages. Any time I have a chance, you will find me reading books or teaching a language.

About Me

I have been a professor at a Divinity School. Now I also teach in the Public Schools and at our local Community College.

Experience

I have taught as both class room teacher and tutor or private teacher for 45 years, ranging from from K through 12, as well as undergraduate and graduate schools. I also had been a Doctoral Mentor.

Approach

As a child, I struggled in school and found learning to be difficult and demoralizing. In elementary school, I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who, through positive encouragement and persistence, helped me realize my true potential. As a tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. Instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but also study skills that will help them be successful in all classes!
