Fun Facts
Everyone that knows me knows that I love to workout and stay active! My free time is usually always dedicated to the gym. I am an only child with two amazing step-brothers and I have two adorable dogs. I was a dancer for over 10 years and now I transitioned my hobby to singing! I won first in state during my senior year in high school, so I hope to bring my talents to an acapella group at UIC.
About Me
I am currently a freshman student at University of Illinois at Chicago. I have been an honors students throughout my high school career and I intend on bringing that same mentality and motivation to college. After I graduate I plan on taking the MCAT so I can start attending medical school at UIC. My ultimate goal is to become a trauma surgeon.
For my students I hope to set reachable goals to ensure progress is being made. In time I hope to expand each goal to challenge each student .
Experience
During my high school experience I was given the opportunity to tutor my older brother through some of his difficult courses. I was also able to experience being around many children during my pervious jobs. I was a swim instructor and a lifeguard, so I was able to teach and surround myself with a multitude of eager young learners. I hope to past on my knowledge to those children through Frog Tutoring.
Approach
School always came quite easily to me, but I have a drive to help others understand what I do. I have a passion to teach others so I find this to be an excellent opportunity for not just myself, but also for every child involved in this program. I have personally gone through tutoring lessons to help prepare me for the ACT, so I could get into my dream school. I'm so thankful for my tutor and I hope to make that same impact upon the children I begin to tutor.

Pre-Med
Middle School Math Tutoring
Since my father was a math professor from an early age he exposed me to many different advanced maths. I have been in higher leveled maths throughout my high school career and that still transitions to college. I completed Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and I am currently in college Algebra which is more of a review to me. I am quite confident in my ability to teach any math to middle school students.
Science Tutoring
I throughly enjoy science and I have to take many sciences classes in my field of study. I have taken integrated science, biology, chemistry, environmental studies, and anatomy. I am quite experienced with science and I am confident in my ability to teach any applied science to middle schoolers.
English Tutoring
Since I was a child my mother has been critiquing my writing and correcting my grammar. She is an English major so I have learned a substantial amount at home. Otherwise I have taken I have been in english courses throughout my four years in high school completely each course with all A's. Even with my most challenging course being senior writing comprehension I received an A because of my hard work and dedication. I am now enrolled in a writing course going in depth about writing and grammar, so I am quite confident in my ability to teach English.
English Tutoring
My mother is an english major, so my writing has been critiqued and my grammar corrected a multitude of times. I have also completed intense english courses throughout my high school career receiving A's. I have been commended for my writing in each course and I am currently enrolled in an intense writing course that focuses on writing and grammar. I am extremely confident in my abilities to teach english to middle school students.
