Fun Facts
One quality I have always taken credit of is that if there is something that I don't know, I will go above and beyond to figure it out. I also understand the stigma of sitting in a classroom and having trouble comprehending what the professor/teacher is saying. Through hard work, I was able to push forward and reach the goals I set for each class. Within the hard work, I required the help of tutors, which gives me more patience with each and every student.
About Me
I Graduated in May 2017 from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am now employed as a licensed Software Engineer and have started my own tech business "Arriaga Laboratories (AriLabs)"
Experience
For about a year, I've been a freelance math tutor for the students at the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College. I've worked with high school students who sought to get ahead, which they did, and older individuals who were in the process of returning to school. All types of students needed great patience, and it all made me love tutoring even more.
Approach
My idea of tutoring was that it is a completely different setting than that of the classroom. Having said that, I push for an environment that is friendly, comfortable, but with a positive stride towards learning. I take into great consideration the students ability, and teach at their pace, but I also provide a gradual push towards achieving their goals, and excelling to their fullest potential.
