Fun Facts

If you get to know me you will quickly understand that I love to dance! I have been dancing since I was a little girl and have continued to love the sport and art of dancing throughout my life. I am originally from Valencia, California, and although that is where Six Flags Magic Mountain is located, I am terrified of roller coasters! I love living in sunny San Diego and go to the beach whenever I have free time.

About Me

I am a senior Political Science major and Sociology minor at San Diego State University. I have been on the Dean's list for the past 4 semesters and I am a member of various clubs and honors societies on campus. When I graduate, I hope to attend law school to earn my joint JD/MBA degree. My ultimate goal is to become an immigration attorney in San Diego.

As one of the youngest Teaching Assistants in the Political Science department at San Diego State, I was able to tutor a variety of students in the various classes I help assist. I found my passion for mentoring and tutoring as I helped students understand complex material. Being a tutor with Frog Tutoring allows me to share my love for learning and passion for knowledge with students of all ages and grade levels!

As a current student, I understand that each student learns and studies in their own unique way. Throughout my elementary school experience, I had several teachers who encouraged me to never give up and reassured me that with the proper mindset and study skills, nothing is beyond reach. This is the attitude and drive I will bring to each and every tutoring session. I feel being a great student begins with truly believing in yourself and knowing that you are capable of understanding and mastering the material. I will guide my students by asking the right questions in order to push them to reach answers themselves. Of course teaching content is of the upmost importance, however, I strongly feel honing the right study skills will help you in all subjects and at all ages! Lastly, I believe that if learning is enjoyable it is much less difficult to understand the material, so I work extremely hard to make my students love what they are learning!
