In my free time I like to play games like Ultimate Frisbee as well as board games like Stratego, Chess, Life, and even Checkers. I also enjoy watching movies or playing video games with my friends like Mario Kart. One of my unique talents is playing piano which I enjoy playing when I'm feeling stressed or just need to make some great music.

About Me

My goal as a fresno">tutor is to help students understand the key concepts of a lesson plan so they may work out problems with minimal difficulty. I also hope to teach them practical study skills and problem solving strategies that they can apply to other areas of life. My personal goal is to receive my Master's Degree to better educate and qualify myself for whatever career path lies ahead.

I have tutored math at a professional level at fresno-pacific-university">Fresno Pacific University, which included both one-on-one fresno">tutoring as well as group fresno">tutoring. Working there has helped me gain a great handle on what it means to be a great fresno">tutor and student. I also have helped my friends and other students in the past in various subject areas like Chemistry and Statistics.

When fresno">tutoring I try to find the best way for the student to learn. Using a whiteboard or a sheet of paper, I usually demonstrate the steps necessary to complete the problem. Then I ask the student to work out a similar problem while I help guide them when necessary. My main focus is on helping students become independent problem-solvers so they will be able to work the problems on their own.
