I am the oldest of 7 children. My favorite hobbies are baking and arts and crafts. I have a collection of over 500 books. My favorite genre is drama. My favorite color is purple. My home is decorated in everything purple. My dream vacation is visiting Hawaii.

About Me

I grew up in Indianapolis but my family is from Colorado so I visit there often. I received my undergraduate degree from the indianapolis">University of Indianapolis. My major was Psychology with a minor in Education. I graduated in 2008 and since then I have worked in the educational field teaching. I am currently working on my master's degree in school counseling at Capella University.

I have taught children for almost ten years now. I have worked in daycares, the public school system, and even in the mental health field. In all of these careers my goal has been to inspire a love of learning. I have gained invaluable indianapolis">tutoring experience working as a before and after school indianapolis">tutor for a local church. There I taught many subjects and worked with children of all ages. The most important impact following this path has helped me further my love of teaching. Frog indianapolis">tutoring gives me the opportunity to do what I love which is teach and helping children succeed.

My philosophy is that in order to inspire a love of learning individuals must receive nurturing guidance, patience, and encouragement. I realize that every person learns differently therefore I am willing to trying a variety of approaches which will result in success. My most inspirational teachers and mentors were a positive force in my life. They were not only dedicated to ensuring my success but were sources of inspiration and motivation. I hope to make the same positive impact on the individuals that I teach.
