Fun Facts
I absolutely love playing and watching basketball! I've been playing my entire life and was captain of my varsity team in high school. I also find most board games (especially strategic ones) absolutely intriguing. If chess could be one of the tucson">tutoring topics I'd be the first signed up. I have also lived in Arizona my entire life, and only just saw snow for the first time last December.
About Me
I am a 20 year old college student currently attending the University of Arizona. I was born and raised in Yuma before coming to Tucson in the fall of 2010. I am majoring in Microbiology with a minor in psychology, and hope to attend medical school after attaining my bachelors.
I am the big brother to three siblings, all of which I tutored in various subjects throughout their academic careers. During my high school days, I was often asked to help there students with their course load, and though it was not an official tucson">tutoring position, I gained valuable experience helping others learn. In the fall semester of my sophomore year here at the University, I participated in Project S.O.A.R., which is a program set up through the UofA to help tucson">tutor and mentor underprivileged middle school children. We were tasked with designing lesson plans, helping with homework, and being an extra role model for the children we mentored. Working for Frog tucson">Tutoring continues to give me the opportunity to help others learn as I learn as well.
Ever since I was young, I loved both school and learning. I have always had a knack for being able to identify the source of someone's troubles, both emotionally and mentally. The latter is a useful tool in tucson">tutoring, because it allows me to identify a students road block quickly, allowing me to tackle it straight on. I do not like sticking to one form of teaching because I believe every student is unique and requires their own method. That being said, I have a great grasp of all the concepts I am tucson">tutoring, and can teach them in a variety of ways.
