My hobbies include reading fictional book series such as Harry Potter and The Hunger Games along with playing beach volleyball. I played club volleyball for 6 years and have been passionate about the game my entire life. I also enjoy going to Brookfield Zoo near my hometown which I am a member of.
About Me
I am a Pharmacy major studying at Butler University from the small town of Munster, Indiana. Though pharmacy is an academically challenging major, I make time for various on campus organizations such as Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity Inc., Pi Eta Sigma Honors Fraternity, and Pi Beta Phi Women's Fraternity. My expected graduation date is June 2017 and I plan to work in a hospital pharmacy setting.
In high school, I tutored my brother in Algebra I and II. I would indianapolis">tutor him by going over his notes from class and working out example problems from the book. It was extremely rewarding seeing the progress he made on his exams after I had helped him. I also periodically tutored some of my friends from school, who were non-science majors, in the fields of biology and chemistry. I helped them by re-wording scientific concepts into simpler terms for them to understand, since science is not their strong suit.
