About Me

I am a Senior at chicago">Loyola University Chicago. I am a double major/ double minor in Criminal Justice and Political Science (majors) and Psychology of Crime and Justice (minor). After undergrad, I plan to go to law school. While in law school, I hope to join the Navy JAG Corps and upon graduation commission into the Navy as a lieutenant.

My first experience chicago">tutoring was when I was a senior in high school. One of the guidance counselors that I had grown close to approached me one day and asked if I would be interested in chicago">tutoring one of her struggling students. I immediately agreed and began chicago">tutoring. We met twice a week for two hours and worked on English, science, Spanish, math, and her homework. It was a great experience, and I made a new friend who, from time to time, I am still able to help through school.

When I am chicago">tutoring the first thing I like to do is ask about my student's day. After we have discussed our day's events, I like to go over the night's homework, and do it together that way I am able to assess problem areas right away. After the homework is complete, I like to study for any tests or quizzes that may be coming up. Then, I like to do flashcards or outline the upcoming chapters in the text book.
