Fun Facts

Ever since I was a little girl I have had my nose in a book. It didn't really matter which book in particular, but I always would want to read it from cover to cover in one sitting. To this day I must admit to taking a brake or two (or ten) when diving into my thick college textbooks, but the drive to learn new things is still within me! About Me

I am currently a sophomore at the University of Texas at San Antonio and pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Management. While English is still my forte, I have also found Business to be very rewarding and have been on the Business school's Deans's List. When I graduate I plan on attending the University of Texas Business School for my Masters in Healthcare Administration.

For years I have been the "go-to" friend for help with everything from writing to spanish homework. When I first realized I had a knack for helping others, I began helping in the tutoring center at my college and coaching other students on how to be better writers, take better notes, and how to be overall successful students. I also help my younger siblings with any subjects they may be struggling with in elementary and middle school so that they feel confident and successful!

My approach to tutoring is different for each student. Learning the same "cookie-cutter" curriculum does not work for everyone, so I make sure that with every student I meet I get to know what his/or her strengths and opportunities are and tailor the subject to how they learn best! I make sure that the student is learning the content and has full understanding before we move on, and review on previous topics to ensure retention. I know that anyone can learn even the toughest subjects with encouragement and the right strategy!
