Fun Facts

One passion people quickly learn about me is that I LOVE kids and teaching! Any time I have a chance, you will find me tutoring children in the neighborhood and from local schools. I have one younger brother who is currently in pre-school. I have lived in a few different states on the East Coast including North and South Carolina, Virginia and Maryland. I was born in Charlotte, NC and currently reside in the Fort Mill area of South Carolina. I love to sing, and one day I want to play piano.

About Me

I am recent college graduate from UNC Charlotte who has a BA in English with a double minor in Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights History as well as History. While I was in school, I made both the Dean's List and Chancellor's list during one academic year. I hope to go onto graduate school for a Master's Degree in either Museum Studies or Library Science. I would like to either become a Museum Curator or a Public Librarian.

Experience

As a college student, I was a tutor for other students at my school who needed help in English or History. In addition, I was also a Paid Tutor for a Local Tutoring Club in the Charlotte area for a while until they did not have enough clients to keep me busy. Working for Frog Tutoring gives me the opportunity to impact even more lives of students who need help!

Approach

As a child, i struggled in school and found learning to be difficult due to learning disabilities. In middle school, I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who through positive encouragement and persistence, helped me to work around my disability and realize my full potential.As a tutor, I attempt to bring this same attitude to all of my sessions. Instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not teach them the content, but study skills to help them succeed in all areas
