About Me
I am a junior Economics and Political Science major with a minor in History at the louisville">University of Louisville. I am actively involved on campus with intramurals, student organizations, and my sorority. I have been on the dean’s list the past three years for both the college of Arts and Sciences and Business, and I was a honor student in high school. I am currently examining my future career path, but I hope to stay in Louisville after my ungrad is complete.
I have a passion for teaching. I started albuquerque">tutoring girls in my high school when I was a freshman. But I decided that I had a true passion for it as a freshman in college when I started to volunteer at the Americana Community Center. I tutored refugees in basic subjects such as English/ Writing, American History, and Math. I absolutely loved seeing the realization of understanding in their eyes as they got concepts we have learned to take for granted.
My albuquerque">tutoring approach is that no one as the same learning style. If we did then we would not need albuquerque">tutors. When I begin albuquerque">tutoring a student I like to find out how they best learn information, then I design the lesson plan around their learning style. I like to make each session unique to the student.
