About Me
I've recently graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor's in Psychology and I'm interested in working with children since I would like to continue my education by getting a Master's in Child Psychology. I hope to open my own teaching center in the future.
Experience
I was chosen by my school as a tutor for fellow students due to my high grades. After high school I continued doing private tutoring lessons for people that needed it. I worked for 4 years at a Language after school program as a teacher, teaching Greek to students of ages 6-14. For my Psychology Capstone in College, I volunteered at Richstone Family Center in Hawthorne, California, helping children whose first language is Spanish with any homework, emphasizing reading comprehension and math.
Approach
As a student I always emphasized how important it is to have good time management. No matter how big or overwhelming an assignment might seem, breaking it down into steps will definitely ease the stress or anxiety attached to that assignment. I hope to help my students manage their schedules and show them that they are capable of any assignments that comes their way, as well as helping them with whatever subject they need.
