About Me
I am a graduate of Colorado College with a degree in Anthropology and a minor in Spanish. I am passionate about food sustainability, design thinking, and am applying for a Fulbright grant to attend the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Bra, Italy for the fall of 2013. I grew up in the Bay Area and attended a Spanish Immersion school from kindergarden through fifth grade, as well as The Girls' Middle School and Menlo-Atherton High School through 2008. I was on the Dean's List for my last two years at Colorado College, and after earning my degree in Food Culture in Italy, I plan to attend Design School and become a design researcher and entrepreneur.

In college, I was a coach and tutor for high-school students in the springs">Colorado Springs area, where I mentored a diverse range of students and inspired them to take part in community activism regarding improved student activity and engagement in school projects and extra-curricular activities. I am now a personal organizer for clients of all ages, where I incorporate previously acquired tutoring skills to help young students organize, plan, and prioritize.
As a teenager and young adult, I struggled with memorization, inspiration, and avoiding procrastination. Although I have always been organized and disciplined, I was frustrated with my ability to focus and stay engaged at school. My education under the block plan at Colorado College as well as my career thus far has inspired me to apply my true potential to inspire and mentor young adults who have big aspirations, goals and motivations for the future. I enjoy asking lots of questions, getting to know the student first, and following up with one-on-one academic support, organization, and
