Fun Facts

One of the things I love doing is dancing, bicycle riding, reading and spending time with my big family. I am the 2nd oldest of 6 siblings. Yeap, we are a big family.

My favorite movies are Harry Potter, The Proposal and LOVE Shrek!

Enjoy playing board games such as loteria (Mexican game), UNO, jenga and Sudoku.

During my years at the university, I did summer study abroad in Hong Kong, best experience ever!

About Me

A little history about me. Well, first off, I am a graduate student from CSU Fresno with my BS in Marketing, minor in Spanish and certificate in Special Events. Currently, I am in the process of pursuing my Masters degree in higher education, Spanish major. My ultimate goal is to pursue my Doctorate and be a university professor.

I currently work at a brokers office assisting farm labor contractors insure their employees. Since I am bilingual, it works out since the majority of the employees speak only Spanish. Really enjoy my job but want to do more in the future.

I come from a farm working family. I am the 2nd from my family to attend college and obtain a degree. Currently my siblings are also attending college.

Experience

During Fresno State, my first fresno">tutoring job was with CA Mini-Corps, a teaching program at the university. After, I worked with CA Teaching Fellows. This where more of a school fresno">tutoring position. I started working with Encourage Tomorrow and Sullivan Learning Systems as a home fresno">tutor. Having worked for all previous companies have provided me the necessary tools to become an exceptional fresno">tutor with Frog fresno">Tutoring!

Approach

Having struggled with homework during my school years was difficult. Not having that one-on-one help impacted my life tremendously. It would have been beneficial if the help was provided when I needed it. Now that I have experienced the impact fresno">tutoring can have on a students life, I feel it's my duty to make a change in my students life to give their best in school!
