About Me

I am a recent graduate of Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. I have been on the Dean's List as well. I also did some volunteer work in Belize which was utterly amazing.

Experience

While attending Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi I worked at the Center for Academic Student Achievement where I was both a peer mentor and a science tutor. I really enjoyed working with students because it gave me a chance to help them achieve their goals. I was also a substitute teacher recently for the Corpus Christi Independent School District.

Approach

When tutoring, I try to use the Socratic method to help students find the answer by asking certain questions that will lead them to the answer, rather than just giving them the answer. I find that this helps students greatly because it demonstrates how you should be thinking or approaching certain questions.
