Fun Facts
My name is Andy. It's only four letters long - short, sweet, and to the point. I love to cook, read, and write. I enjoy drawing and doodling whenever possible. I also play several musical instruments including: guitar, bass guitar, piano, harmonica, and the drums. I enjoy working with kids in order for them to gain confidence in themselves and in their work, thus, reflecting on their overall view on life and everyone else.
About Me
I was born in a small city in Southern California, Santa Ana. After living there the first eighteen years of my life, I decided I needed a change, so, I moved to San Francisco to attend college at San Francisco State University. I plan on receiving a degree in Biology - with a concentration in Physiology - and then moving on to Medical school in order to become a licensed psychiatrist.
As far as previous tutoring goes, most of my life I have been tutoring my sister and my various cousins with their homework and schoolwork. Ranging from math to English to science to reading and writing, I have helped them succeed in their studies. I greatly appreciate the experiences that I gained from tutoring them.
Every student, every child, every person, is different. I believe tutoring should be individualized and crafted uniquely for the student and their strengths and weaknesses. Reinforcement in their studies and in themselves will push a student to excel in anything that they set their mind to.
