When you have a passion to help others, there are many things that you can do in life. I have this passion to help and I have found that I want to be all things, a doctor, a lawyer, and teacher but i realize that the passion to help is in your heart and can be applied to any job. Find what you love and put your all into it.
About Me
I am a senior Child Development major at California State University Sacramento. I have been on the Deans List for the last 3 years. When i graduate, I plan on going to grad school for School Psychology and getting my Teaching Credentials. My goal in life is to help children become successful by giving each child the same opportunities regardless of race, religion, and finances.
Experience
As the president of my AVID class 2011, I had the opportunity to tutor students bi-weekly for one year. For three years, I also tutored my at my middle school in all subjects. I have tutored family friends and members at my works children. Upon entering college, I tutored for classes, with bilingual students and students in middle school. I now wok in home with autistic children doing one on one therNow working with Frog Tutoring, I have the ability to continue to impact the lives of students.
Approach
As a child, school was my out let. However, as an adult I realized that I was so focused in school because my parents reinforced good grades. Working with autistic children, I have learned that reinforcement is the biggest success to making a child complete a task. With this approach, children will work harder to complete or excel in a given task because there is a benefit waiting at the end of the road.
