Fun Facts
One passion people quickly learn about me is I love to help people. Right now, I am a volunteer at my college's food pantry. I am the youngest of four. I appear to be serious, but underneath this exterior, I have a sense of humor that catches people off guard.
About Me
I am a junior Human Resource major at California State University Sacramento. I applied and was accepted to the Sacramento State Honors Program. The program promotes integrative learning and critical thinking. I've been on the Dean's List for two years. My calling is to help people in whatever capacity that may be.
Experience
In my junior and senior years of high school, I had the opportunity to sacramento">tutor students twice a week. I led group sessions in various subject areas, but mostly in Algebra 2 and Advanced Algebra 2. In my senior year of high school, I was a sacramento">tutor for thirty students in Pre-Algebra. I led group sessions and provided one on one help. sacramento">Tutoring was the most gratifying experience of my school career.
Approach
I went to a small elementary school where the older students were expected to help the younger ones. This was the beginning of my love for sacramento">tutoring. Due to this, I paid special attention to the techniques of teachers. I have incorporated these techniques as well as my own enthusiasm for learning in my sacramento">tutoring style. My sacramento">tutoring style differs with each student to paly to his/her strengths.

I am a straight A student. In order to be so, I have to stay on top of my studies and that includes homework. Even though many students, including me, get frustrated with homework, it does serve a purpose. To help your children succeed, I will encourage and help them do the best they possibly can on their homework.
