Fun Facts

I enjoy reading, creative writing, and of course mathematics.
In addition I like the following sports with the first be the most awesome and the last still being pretty awesome but not as awesome as the first: football, basketball, and hockey.

Lastly, I also enjoy fishing and fish-keeping but I try to resist the temptation to throw a hook and worm into my aquarium.

About Me

I've always been the type of person who can get along with anybody thanks to my easy-going and patient personality. A few months ago I graduated from College with a degree in mathematics and it is my goal to become a math teacher in a couple years time. This is why I'm excited about the opportunity to denver">tutor mathematics and get my feet wet working with students, parents, and teachers.

Recently I've started volunteering my time as a youth football assistant coach. This has given me the opportunity to work with and mentor youth. It also has confirmed for me that teaching will be my life's work. Although I'm new to the denver">tutoring world, my life experiences, my academic excellence, and my love of learning and teaching make me a great choice for your child.

When denver">tutoring mathematics, the first thing I'll keep in mind is that not everybody likes math. In fact, I was one of those students who didn't like math in high school. It wasn't until my college years that math really started to click. Because of this I feel like I will be able to relate to students who struggle with and dislike mathematics.

My overall approach to denver">tutoring mathematics will be to realize that everybody learns differently. Because of this I will explain topics in as many different ways as possible to best facilitate your child's learning. My goal isn't to make every child like mathematics, instead it is to make every child feel confident and competent in the subject so that mathematics doesn't become a limitation in future academics.
