Fun Facts
I run track for Emory University. Although I am very school-oriented, I spend a good amount of time playing video games with my friends, and I hate losing at them. Fall is my favorite season because I love football with a passion.
About Me
I am from New Jersey, but I love the Philadelphia Eagles. I am currently studying to become a doctor at Emory University. When I am not in the class room I am usually on the track practicing with my track team. During my free time I like going for long relaxing walks to give my mind time to unwind.
My tutoring experience began when I was a junior in high school when I was assigned to tutor a group of struggling sophomores in trigonometry and chemistry. Four out of five of those students saw immediate improvement in their performance. During my senior I was assigned my first one on one tutoring assignment, tutoring a junior in a repeat trigonometry course. I also have unofficially tutored many students in Spanish.
Similar to all other things in life you have to learn how to crawl before you can walk. There is no point in trying to teach someone how to balance a chemical equation if he does not have a basic understanding of the atoms involved. After the basics are understood the student can rapidly build on his knowledge, through individualized guidance, until he is ahead of his class! Once we have reached this point the main objectives become to stay ahead of the class and continuously review previous concepts until they become second nature.
