About Me
I am a third year in Emory University. I am currently working towards a biology major, and hoping to get into orthodontics. I am very interested in working with younger students or students my age to achieve the goals that they want from education. I am very determined and will try my best to get the understanding of my students.
I have prior experiences in atlanta">tutoring elementary, middle, and high school students. I have taught Biology, Pre-algebra, basic math, and basic science. I have not taught college students, but I feel as if I would be able to relate and understand the struggles of different courses.
My teaching approach is to first allow my students to be comfortable with me, and to develop a professional mentor relationship with my students. I do take learning very seriously. When teaching new information, I believe it is important to go in basic steps and not rush the learning process. When reviewing, I think it's important for the student to try to keep practicing so it is locked in their mind.
