Fun Facts

A passion of mine is traveling. I love to go on volunteer and mission trips and my dream is to travel the world. This summer I actually spent 3 weeks in Jamaica with a volunteer program called Great Shape Inc and we taught a seminar for Jamaican teachers on classroom management and literacy skills.

About Me

I am a recent graduate and a certified teacher in Secondary Education- Biological Sciences. I am currently a substitute teacher by day. I am planning to get my Masters in the next couple of years and eventually teach College Anatomy and Physiology.

Experience

I have tutored people since I was in high school. I used to tutor children on reading and writing. I was a part of a volunteer program called y-cap for ht past few years and have tutored high school students in several subjects. I also have experience teaching in a Biology I classroom.

Approach

I feel that every child learns differently and that it is important to get to know them and try several different methods to see what works best for them. I try to make learning as interesting and hands-on as possible.
